Today felt steady, predictable, and surprisingly empowering on the Day 10 of Sugar Detox. My cravings were small and scattered, but nothing that took over my thoughts. It almost felt like my body kept quietly asking, “Are we really still doing this… is the sugar truly not coming back?”
Day 10 Sugar Detox - Morning Check-In
Weight: 194.9 lbs
Fasting Glucose: 105 mg/dL
Sleep Readiness: 86
Sleep Quality: 77
Energy: 8/10 – clear and not tired
Mood: Steady and relaxed
Breakfast: Skipped
Activity: I played 3 hours of pickleball and definitely felt the low energy. I ate some apple slices on the court, which caused a normal and expected glucose spike to 138 mg/dL, then quickly leveled off.

Day 10 Sugar Detox - Afternoon Check-In
This was my first time eating out while staying committed to no sugar. Up until now I have had full control over my environment.
Glucose: 112 mg/dL
Meal: 8 chicken wings (no breading) + blue cheese
Snacks/Drinks: 3 whiskeys (surprisingly no glucose spike)
I met friends at a bar to watch football. But what surprised me most was how easy it was to make the right choices. Before Day 7, I am almost certain I wouldn’t have held the line. Something has shifted.
Day 10 Sugar Detox - Evening Check-In
Glucose: 99 mg/dL
Meal: 2 Italian sausages
Snacks: Apple slices with cashew butter
Day 10 Sugar Detox - Daily Recap
Glucose Range: 88–138 mg/dL
Total Activity: 4,183 calories burned
Water: 200 oz
Overall Energy: 8/10 – physically exhausted but mentally strong
Mood: Very positive
Cravings: None until late evening, and even those were mild
What Day 10 Reveals About Metabolic Stability
Today was a big test and I passed it.
I exercised hard, went out with friends, ate in an uncontrolled environment, and still stayed sugar-free. This was a major shift showing my cravings no longer dictate my decisions. The freedom that comes with that is real.
The other huge milestone was my blood sugar stayed steady around 100 mg/dL for hours, the most level it’s been since wearing a CGM. The only spike all day came from intense physical activity and not from food. That is a sign of deep recalibration.
My body is finally stabilizing. The hard days (1–6) broke old patterns. Days 7–10 are building new ones.
Now it feels like my system trusts this new baseline.
I’m excited to see what Days 11–14 bring as things continue to balance and settle.
