Day 11 Sugar Detox Report - The Mental Consolidation Phase

Today felt a little heavier on my body and my mind. I woke up tired and sore, and even though the cravings weren’t strong, I could feel my body asking, “Are we really done with sugar?” This is where the detox becomes just as much mental as it is physical.
Day 11 Sugar Detox - Morning Check-In
Weight: 195.1 lbs.
Fasting Glucose (CGM): 100 mg/dL
Sleep Readiness: 76
Sleep Quality: 79
Energy Level: 6 (tired)
Mood: a little scattered and low-key
Breakfast: 3 eggs over easy with cheese + sliced filet mignon cooked in butter
Even with a solid breakfast, the fatigue lingered. Some of this is still the detox process, but I also had a very active weekend and a few drinks yesterday. I think my body is definitely catching up.

Day11 Sugar Detox - Afternoon Check-In
Glucose: 102 mg/dL
Lunch: spinach salad with salmon, avocado, peppers, goat cheese, mixed berries, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds, red onion, avocado oil + balsamic
Snacks: 2 pieces of 72% dark chocolate
By midday I felt genuinely worn out. It is hard to tell how much is the detox and how much is the accumulated strain of workouts + alcohol + metabolic reset, but today my body wanted rest. I didn’t fight it. I gave into a quick nap. I went for a 4 mile walk to get my mind moving.
Day 11 Sugar Detox - Evening Check-In
Glucose: 83 mg/dL
Dinner: spaghetti squash with meatballs, marinara, parmesan
Snacks: 4 pieces of 72% dark chocolate with cashew butter
Evening glucose stayed steady and low. This is a very positive sign that my system is recalibrating.
Day 11 Sugar Detox - Daily Recap
Glucose Range: 70–120 mg/dL
Total Activity: 2,901 calories
Water Intake: 140 oz
Overall Energy: 6 – running on fumes
Overall Mood: surprised and a little discouraged after feeling so strong on Day 7–8
Overall Cravings: light cravings, nothing overpowering
Observations
Day 11 of sugar detox brought tiredness, soreness, and a noticeable increase in hunger. This is normal at this stage as my body is still sorting through stored glycogen, recalibrating insulin response, and adjusting fuel sources.
My overnight glucose was the steadiest it has been since wearing the CGM, mostly parked around 94 mg/dL. This shows real metabolic adaptation, even if my energy doesn’t quite feel like it yet. Even with the fatigue, the overnight glucose stability is a major indicator that the detox is working exactly as it should. These dips in energy often come right before another upswing.
