Day 14 Sugar Detox Report - From Challenge to New Normal

Day 14 of Sugar Detox!!  Where did the time go?  What did I learn?  How amazing is the human body!!!  This journey is not easy, but worth it.  I feel accomplished and renewed.

Day 14 Sugar Detox - Morning Check-In

  • Weight: 193.8 lbs

  • Fasting Glucose (CGM): 99 mg/dL

  • Oura Readiness: 79

  • Oura Sleep Quality: 73

  • Energy Level: 8 – woke up ready to go

  • Mood: Alert and ready to move

  • Breakfast: 3 eggs over easy with cheese, 2 sausage patties, bowl of blueberries & raspberries

Notes: Woke up energized and grounded. Even though it is the last official day, my mindset isn’t “it’s over.” It’s what did I learn, and what comes next? This feels less like the end of a challenge and more like the beginning of a lifestyle.

What Day 14 Really Represents

Day 14.  I made it.

But today, instead of thinking about “reward foods” or the finish line, I found myself reflecting on what I accomplished and how different I feel from just two weeks ago. After years of relying on sugar, this was no small feat. My body responded. It adapted. It recalibrated. And it reminded me that when you give it the right environment, it will turn toward health.

The human body is extraordinarily resilient, responsive, and always trying to heal.

This challenge wasn’t about perfection. It was about reclaiming control.

Today marks the end of the detox, but the beginning of a new normal.

Congratulations—this is where the real journey begins.
